We announce the passing of Mr. James Smalls, 86, of Santee, South Carolina. Mr. Smalls departed from the walk of this life on Tuesday: January 27, 2026, while surrounded by those whom he loved. A native of the Jonesville Community of Yemassee, South Carolina; he was a beloved husband, cherished father, devoted grandfather and so much more. The many memories of his life will forever be esteemed in the minds of all who knew and loved him.

As service arrangements will be forthcoming, we encourage you to share in expressions of remembrance and sympathy, all which will serve as words of comfort for this bereaved family.
