The Management and Staff of Stubbs Funeral Home LLC regretfully announced the passing of Mr. Bernard McPhaul who passed away on January 20, 2026, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC after an illness.

Services and arrangements are incomplete at this time but will be announced later.

The family of Bernard McPhaul will be accepting visitors at his home, 205 2nd Avenue Bennettsville, on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 8:00.

His wife, Dianne McPhaul, will also be opening her home (221 Airport Rd. Bennettsville) to visitors starting Friday, January 23, 2026. Those who wish to offer their condolences, drop off items, or make donations are welcome to visit or reach out to his daughter, Toccara Covington.

Stubbs Funeral Home LLC is assisting the family with final arrangements.
