Larry D. Poole
December 20, 1960 - January 16, 2026

Larry D. Poole, age 65, unexpectedly passed away January 13, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.

He was born December 20, 1960, in West Point, Mississippi, a son of the late Rosetta Poole and P.I. Collins.

He grew up in West Point and attended school in the West Point School District. He furthered his education at Jackson State University and Phillips College, becoming an electrician.

Larry played a vital role at Stronghill M.B. Church and was a faithful member, serving with many of the church’s committees.

He leaves to cherish his memories four children: Crystal Lane, Ieshia Shelton, Asa Forte, and Kelten Washington. He leaves three sisters: Alfreda Turner (Carl), Patricia Prowell (Dwight), and Brenda Green (Horace). He is also survived by two loving aunts: Mary Louise Hill and Bessie Hodges. He also leaves nieces, nephews, many cousins and extended family members.

He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
