Funeral service for Ella Love, 81, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, Opelika, AL, 36801, Brother Willie Ford will officiate.

Mrs. Love, who passed away Monday, January 19, 2026 at her home in Opelika, Alabama, was born August 19, 1944, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, January 30, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

She leaves to cherish her memory: four children, Isaiah Love, Tammy Love, Sandra (Jerome) Ware all of Opelika, AL and Dexter Love of Atlanta, GA; eleven grandchildren, Anthony Dankins, Anjelica Dankins, Aneisha Dankins, Jamel Griffin, Tenisha Love, Schernaries Love, Tamara Love, Dextin Love, Journey Love, Jerome Ware and Jada Ware; two sisters, Inell Guice of Atlanta, GA and Louise Pitts of Opelika, AL; two sisters-in-law, Annie Ruth Dankins of Atlanta, GA and Willie Pearl Dinkins of Beauregard, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
