Obituary For Mechelle Jeremiah Gullett

Mechelle B. Jeremiah Gullett was born on January 14, 1983 to Michael Jeremiah and the late Carolyn B. Jeremiah in Fort Pierce, FL. She matriculated through the schools of Saint Lucie County graduating from Fort Pierce Westwood High School in 2002. Mechelle then went on and furthered her education at Indian River State College obtaining her Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration. She also earned a degree in Theology from Trinity Theological Seminary of South Florida. Mechelle was an Ordained Minister and served as a Sunday School teacher and Youth Leader at Tabernacle Church of Deliverance. Mechelle worked for the Saint Lucie County Clerk of Court office for 14 years. She enjoyed being a mother to Mylah above everything else. Mechelle loved to go fishing with her dad, spending quality time with her sisters, nephews, and nieces. She enjoyed traveling, ministering to the youth, and took delight in studying to show herself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth (II Timothy 2:15). On February 8, 2019, Minister Mechelle heard the pleasant voice of the Lord calling her to come home to Him and rest from her labor. Her work here on earth was finished and now it was time to be with Him. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn B. Jeremiah, grandparents, Ralph Sr. and Joann Coleman, William and Phyllis Shears, brother, Ramon Gilchrist, and godfather, James Johnson. Left to cherish her precious memories are her daughter, Mylah Janelle Gullett; her father, Michael Jeremiah; siblings, Ronald(Beth)Gilchrist, Joanna(Matthew)Gilchrist Wright, and Robin Gilchrist; aunts, Jeanette Tyson, Mary Whetsel, Myrtle Lett, Andrea, Joyce, and Barbara Shears, Pamela Coleman; uncles, Reynold and Leslie Shears, Ralph Coleman Jr., and a host of other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.

Public visitation for Mechelle Jeremiah will take place on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at the Tabernacle Church of Deliverance in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00am at Immanuel Full Gospel Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL. Burial will follow in Sarah's Memorial Gardens.
