Obituary of Robin Yvonne Levister

Robin Yvonne Levister went home to be with Jesus on January 27, 2026, at MUSC Chester, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on October 21, 1962, in Chester, South Carolina, to the late John and Peggy Cooper.

Robin was a graduate of Chester High School and spent her life rooted in the community she loved. She found her greatest joy in time spent with family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren. Robin had a creative spirit and enjoyed working on DIY projects, always finding ways to make something beautiful with her hands.

She is survived by her daughter, Breanna Ewing (Brandon) of Rock Hill, her God Son Chris Clawson of Chester her seven cherished grandchildren, Kayden, Karma, Colt, Kyra, Thompson, Savanna, and Adalyn; her sister-in-law, Sherry Clack; her favorite nephew, Robert Zarko (Kim) of Edgemoor; her favorite nieces, Summer Clack of Chester and Brittany Bennett (Travis) of Heath Springs; and her nephews, Daniel, Jeremy, and Nathan.

Robin was preceded in death by her beloved son, Ronald Daniel Zarko, whose memory she carried close to her heart.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, February 15th at Saluda Street Church of God, located at 544 Saluda Road, Chester, SC 29706.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saluda Street Church of God.
