Laura Richard Carpenter, 89, of Havelock died Saturday January 31, 2026 at Cherrypoint Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She is survived by her son, Charlie Carpenter, Jr.( Pam) of Havelock; two grandchildren, Maurice Dwayne Carpenter and Cameron Bryce Carpenter and four great-greatchildren.
