Melvin “Bro” Clark
Melvin “Bro” Clark, 80, entered into eternal rest on January 28, 2026. Born on October 12, 1945, in York County, South Carolina, to the now deceased parents of Melvin Clark, Sr, and Johnnie Mae Clark. Melvin later made his home in Chester, SC, where he worked tirelessly until his illness. Over the years, he dedicated his hands and his work ethic to Interstate Roofing Company, Snipes Company, JP Stevens Mill., and the State of South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his daughter Tammy Clark, sisters Rovenia Clark and Lovie Mae Heath, and his brother Robert “Bubba” Clark. Their spirits now join him in eternal peace. Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Millie Mae Clark; his children, Belinda Clark, Bernard Clark, Melvin Clark, and Earnest Chisholm (Terri); and his sister, Magaline Hinton, (Tommy). Melvin’s legacy continues through his 17 grandchildren: Quanisha Agurs (Jacques), Amari Flanagan, Deasia Pendergrass, De’Melvin Myers, Jamelvin Clark, Britney Clark, Tyresse Clark, Aaron Robinson, KaRon Robinson, So’Darius Clark, Tomquise Richardson, Lanarda Clark, Letisha DeGraffenreid, Symora Vargas, Cameron Chisholm, Tamryn Chisholm, Brooke Chisholm as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever carry his lessons and love in their hearts.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Parker Funeral Home Chapel.
