Obituary For Phyllice Taylor

Phyllice B. Taylor, 65, of Wandering Way, Harrisburg transitioned into eternal life on Friday, February 8, 2019 as a result of being hit by a car.

She was born in Carlisle, daughter of the late Erma L. Washington Brown and Lafayette Anderson, a graduate of the former William Penn Senior High School, retired from the former Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot, a member of American Legion Ephraim Slaughter Post #733 and Unity Temple #61 IBPOE of W.

She was a Die-Hard Philadelphia Eagle's Fan and North Carolina Tarheels Fan and in her leisure, she loved to travel and was a Meals On Wheels Volunteer. Phyllice leaves to celebrate her life, her life partner, Melvin L. Harris; her daughter, Robyn A. Taylor; her brother, Minister Stephen L. Washington; her sisters, Karen Y. Tomlinson and Freda C. Howerton and a host of other relatives and friends. Her life will be celebrated on Monday, February 18 at 12 Noon in the Sanctuary of Deliverance Temple Church of God, 815 North 15th Street, with viewing 10:00 a.m. until Noon and Elk Temple Services at 10:30 a.m. The family request that donations be made in memory of Phyllice B. Taylor to Central PA Blood Bank 223 Walnut St., Harrisburg, PA 17104.
