Maryetta Pollard, 90, of Memphis, TN passed away on January 31, 2026 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. Maryetta was born on September 10, 1935 to John and Willie Bee Cooper in Shelby, Mississippi. She is survived by eight siblings, Lucille Elderidge (Fred), Mertha Campbell, Peggie Ann Henderson, Jessie Cooper, McKinley Cooper (Bessie), Issac Cooper, Donnie Cooper (Mary), and Willard Charles Cooper. She is preceded in death by her spouse Jimmie Pollard and her parents, John Asphy and Willie Bee Cooper. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 10:55 AM at New Salem Baptist Church located at 2231 S PArkway E Memphis, TN 38114. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the New Salem Baptist Church. Burial will take place on Tuesday February 17, 2026 at 1:00PM in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road Memphis, Tennessee.
