Funeral service for Mary Roderick, 79, of Fort Worth, TX, formerly of Tuskegee Institute, AL, will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 410 Cedar Street, Tuskegee, AL, 36083 with interment in Ashdale Cemetery, 901 Wright Street, Tuskegee, AL, 36083, Reverend Dr. John H. Curry, Jr., will officiate.

Mrs. Roderick, who passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 in Keller, Texas, was born November 15, 1946, in Macon County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, February 6, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. Roderick will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Cenika “CC” Roderick of Fort Worth, TX; two grandchildren, Anaya Roderick and Kaleb Kinley both of Fort Worth, TX; one great-granddaughter, Zalia Roderick of Fort Worth, TX; cousin as a brother, Reverend Andrew Peoples of Opelika, AL; one aunt, Ruth Durr of Auburn, AL; devoted cousins, Bishop Tony (Demetra) Peoples of Montgomery, AL, Tanulyn McKinley of Auburn, AL, Angela (Ricky) James of Jacksonville, FL, Lillie B. Bailey, Patricia Frazier and Bernice Stinson all of Auburn, AL; a host other relatives and friends.
