MR. BILLY JOE JACKSON – Age 91, - Of LaFayette, Georgia passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026. He was born on August 21, 1934 to his late parents, Oscar Jackson and Violet G. Robbs Jackson. He was preceded by his sisters, Dorothy Jackson, brothers, James Miller “Samp” Jackson, Donald Jackson, and Chester Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a life member of Prospect Baptist Church, a retired Truck Driver with Pilot Freight Service, and a cattle farmer.

He is lovingly survived by his nephew, Gerald (Vanessa) Stallings of Martinez, Georgia; sister, Lillie Mae Griffin; brother, Marvin (Betty) Jackson, all of LaFayette, Georgia; sister-in-law, Carolyn Jackson; aunts, Martha Harris, and Robbie Anderson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family, friends, and his church family.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 1:00 P. M. at Prospect Baptist Church, 194 Prospect Church Road, LaFayette, Georgia with Pastor Jeffrey Scott Copeland and other Ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, LaFayette City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
