MRS. BETTIE (“BETTY”) JO BRADFORD BURTON – AGE 90, - Of Ringgold, Georgia passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026 with her family at her bedside. She was born on January 26, 1936 in Benton, Tennessee to her late parents, Joe Spence Bradford and Lena Benton Bradford. She was preceded by her husband, Melvin Burton, Sr. and son Melvin Burton, Jr., sisters, Melba Isom and Inez Bonman, brothers, Oneal, David, Walter, and Larry Bradford, and grandson, Danny Joe Burton, Jr., and special friend Karen Burton.

Survivors are her loving and devoted sons, Danny (Sharon) Burton, and Gregory (Nicole) Burton of Ringgold, Georgia; nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy (Cecil) Harmon, Theda Thompson; two brothers, Joe (Mae) Bradford, and Steve (Doris) Bradford; special friend, Mary Croft; nieces, nephews, cousins; other extended family, friends, and her church family.

Celebration Of Life Service for Mrs. Betty Joe Burton will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 2:00 P. M. at Mt. Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks Street, Ringgold, Georgia with Pastor Edward Ellis and other Ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Chattanooga National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
