Lawrence Charles Holsendolph, Jr. “BAM”

Mr. Lawrence Charles Holsendolph, Jr. was born on May 26, 1974 to Lawrence Charles Holsendolph, Sr. and the late Johnnie Ruth Holsendolph.

Mr. Lawrence “Bam” passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at his resident. He was preceded in death by his mother Johnnie Ruth Holsendolph, sister Kimberly Holsendolph, grandparents Wesley Little, Jr., Alneda Brooks, Willie Holsendolph, Elnora Holsendolph and best friend Rudolph Davis, Jr.

Mr. Lawrence “Bam” was a hard working man. He took care of his family and he loved his grandchildren. Showing love to others brought him immense joy and his compassionate spirit touched countless lives.

Mr. Lawrence “Bam” worked for Dunman Construction in Hahira, Georgia for several years. He loved working with Mr. Chuck Dunman. Lawrence worked for The Scruggs Company, Langdale Company and Langboard Company for several years until he became sick.

His loving survivors include his children Darrell Davis, Sr., Valdosta, GA, Lawrence Holsendolph III, El Paso, TX, Rudy Holsendolph, Colorado Spring, CO, Jai’vion Holsendolph, Quitman, GA; God son he reared Jarquis Fulton, Quitman, GA; grandchildren Jace Davis, Darrell Davis, Jr., Leilani Holsendolph, Elisa Holsendolph; sisters Ranada Holsendolph, Morgan (Quinton) Pope; nieces Jasmine Manning, Ebony Murphy, Tamya Fulton, I’Zaiyah; nephews George Jr., Quinton Jr., Naseem, Natavion; a special aunt Patricia Little; aunts and uncles Sara Lee, Lizzie, Eddie (Jeannie) Little, William, Gwendolyn (Charles), Susan, Patrice (Albert), Monica (Daryl), Anthony (Velinica) and Angela (Terrance); special friends Leon Smith, Tony Andrews, Bunkey Andrews, Daniel Bell, Blue Boy, Chad Moore; special cousin Kenny Spencer, Felix Gosier, Larry Little and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, February 6, 2026 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 2PM-7PM.


Home going services will be Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 3PM at Shumate Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Scott Serenity Gardens in Dixie, GA. Visit this website to view a livestream of the celebration.
