Mother Annie Mae Battle

Psalms 116:15 declares, Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. During this moment of sadness, S. Jones F. and C. are offering genuine comfort to the remaining loved ones of Ms. Annie Mae Battle as they bid farewell to a dear mother. On February 05 2026, after 90 years of shared loved, the Battle family circle was forever changed when Mother Battle drifted off to sleep in the arms of her Savior, at the Nash UNC Medical Center.

Mother Battle's family has organized a Heartfelt Life Remembering Service, which will proceed as follows: A visitation will take place on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. This gathering will provide an opportunity for friends and family to come together, offer support, and reflect on the life of Mother Battle.

A Homegoing Celebration is scheduled to take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2026, within the sanctuary of Jerusalem Baptist Church.

Mother Battle's mortal frame will be laid to rest in the Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
