Valery Joy Frazier Kelley,67, of Havelock entered into eternal rest Monday, February 9, 2026 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill.

Service arrangements are pending at Piney Grove AME Zion Church.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. James C. Kelley Sr. of the home; son, Christopher Kelley, Havelock; daughter, Java Kelley, Havelock; grandson, Knowledge; her mother, Anna Bell Frazier, Havelock; two sisters, Deborah “Dee” Frazier, Havelock and Shirley Williams (Morris), Stafford, VA; three brothers, Barry Frazier, Alan Frazier (Gale), Havelock, Rickey Frazier (Felicia); a host of in- laws from Patterson, NJ, Connecticut, New York, Georgia and Florida.
