Graveside service for Daniel Royal, 82, of Atlanta, Georgia, will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 13, 2026, at Greenwood Cemetery, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama, 36109, Reverend Dr. Alex Moss will officiate.

Mr. Royal, who passed away Monday, February 9, 2026 at his home in Atlanta, Georgia, was born June 24, 1943, in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved wife, Barbara Royal; two sons, Daniel Charles (Robin) Royal III of Trophy Club, TX , William Brennan (Jodie) Royal of Sandy Springs, GA and Jonathan Matthew (Barbara) Royal of Chattanooga, TN; five grandchildren, Aubrey Royal of Trophy Club, TX, Piper Royal, Alex Royal both of Sandy Springs, GA, Allison Royal and Meghan Royal of Chattanooga, TN; two siblings, Mary Susan Elley of Gilbert, AZ and David Royal of Montgomery, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.
