Funeral service for Jason Chambless, 43, of Auburn, AL, formerly of Birmingham, AL will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 16, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, 553 Highway 165, Ft. Mitchell, AL, 36856 on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 12:30 (CST), Reverend Chester Levett will officiate.

Mr. Chambless, who passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born December 25, 1982, in Jefferson County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Tanesha Moore of Auburn, AL; four children, Jayuanna Chambless, Tyquavious Dowdell, Javious Mitchell all of Auburn, AL and Miguel Rudolph (Chambless) of Montgomery, AL; parents, Jesse James and Eugenia Chambless of Birmingham, AL; one sister, Terika Wallace of McCalla, AL; one brother, Jesse (Melanie) Chambless, Jr. of Auburn, AL; one uncle, Joseph (Jeanette) Gaston of Atlanta, GA; two aunts, Ginevera (Robert) Sims of Greenwood, MS and Marcella (Charles) McGrue of Birmingham, AL; father-in-law, Richard Moore, Sr. of Auburn, AL; mother-in-law, Gloria (Jimmy) Dowdell of Opelika, AL; one sister-in-law, Janquie Brock of Atlanta, GA; one brother-in-law, Richard Moore, Jr., of Auburn, AL; four nieces, Harper Chambless, Charlotte Chambless both of Auburn, AL, Karson Lockhart and Kaylie Wallace both of Birmingham, AL; three nephews, Kelvin Wallace II, Keagan Wallace both of Birmingham, AL and Jaden Echols of Auburn, AL; extended family, Nelva Walker and her late husband Gaston Walker (family friend), Mr. and Mrs. Roosevelt Ford (Godparents), and Barbara Gibson (family friend) and a host of other relatives and friends.
