Calvin Johnson, Sr., received the gift of life on November 3, 1952, to the late Foy Johnson and Mattie Mae Williams Hill.
He entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2026. Calvin’s early years were shared in Wewahitchka, Florida, and then in Rochester, New York.
After years in the big city, he returned to the countryside to reunite with family, fishing and community. Calvin lived a strong life.
Overcoming many challenges, he always shared his quiet strength. He found joy basking outdoors in the sun, 49-ers and Florida Gators. friends. gardening, and watching his favorite sports teams, the San Francisco 49-ers and Florida Gators.
Calvin leaves to cherish him sons, Calvin Jr., and Brandon; daughters, Dominique (Shelton) and Mariah (Aaron); grandchildren, Calvin III, Khaden, Juveryona, King, Demari, Brandon, Aries, and Persia; sisters, Cynthia ( Joseph), Dorothy Hill, and Janice Hill; devoted companion, Johnnie Mae Robinson; and a host of other family and
