MR. WILLIE BAILEY, JR.

CROWLEY – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Crowley, LA for Mr. Willie Bailey, Jr., 78, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at her residence in Crowley, LA. Interment will be in West Crowley Cemetery.

Willie Emeal Bailey Jr. was born on October 16, 1947 to Dorothy Richardson and Willie Bailey Sr. in Crowley, LA.

Willie graduated in 1967 from H.C. Ross High School in Crowley. After completing his education, he relocated to San Francisco, CA which he proudly called home for more than 50 years. Willie was a dedicated and loyal employee of The Coca-Cola Bottling Company, where he faithfully served for over three decades.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Dorothy Richardson of Crowley, LA; his bonus mother, Carrie Bailey of Clute, TX; one son, Willie Bailey III (Marquetta) of Vallejo, CA; two daughters, Rachelle Bailey of Crowley, LA and Lisa Allen of Houston, TX; two brothers, Michael Bailey (Katie) of Clute, TX and Allen Richardson Jr. of Crowley, LA; five sisters, Barbara Coleman of Shreveport, LA; Cynthia Survine of Fresno, CA; Denise Guillory (Frederick) of Crowley, LA, Dolores Bailey of Brownsville, Tx, and Janice Bailey of Austin, Tx; one aunt, Patricia Smith of Crowley, LA. He was a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Bailey Sr.; his grandmother, Annie Sibley; his uncle, Percy Douglas; and his great-aunt, Pearl Turner.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Crowley, LA.
