Hosea Monta Williams
February 27, 1979 - February 14, 2026

Hosea was born on February 27, 1979 to the late Daisey and John Williams. Though many hearts were broken God called him home on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at UMMC in Jackson, MS.

He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Oakland M.B. Church in Crawford, MS where he remained a member until death. He was a graduate of West Lowndes High School. Hosea was a hard, devoted, and dedicated worker. With his most recent employment being with, Yokohama Tire Manufacturing of Mississippi. Hosea hobbies included Harness Horse Racing and Hunting with the best Hound Dogs.

Hosea leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Rekesha Lee-Williams, four children, Ry’Querrius Williams (Columbus, MS), Shakirah Williams (Starkville, MS), Jalayla Williams (Columbus, MS), HaSiah Williams (West Point, MS), and stepson, J’Micheal Strong (West Point, MS). Siblings including, sisters, Tocarra (Jimmie) Thomas (Crawford, MS), Shacarra (Jimmy) Staples (Tupelo, MS), Alexis Williams (Columbus, MS), Erica Henry (Columbus, MS), and brother, Tarrius Williams (Crawford MS), special aunt, Annette Rogers (Crawford, MS), and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, his brothers, Marcus, Carlos, and Javonta Williams, and his grandparents, John Roger, Sr., and Annie Dora.
