Memorial service for Nelda Shaw, 81, of Opelika, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Bishop Henry Ligon will officiate.

Mrs. Shaw, who passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born September 29, 1944, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two children, Melissa (Terry) Bell of Opelika, AL and Latisha (Larry) Fair of Phenix City, AL; three grandchildren, Ladairs O. Bell, Audrienna J. Bell and Mariah J. Fair; one brother, William Greathouse, Jr.; special niece, Teresa F. Greathouse; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
