OPELOUSAS- Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Ms. Debra Marie Murray, 53, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.

Cherishing Ms. Murray’s memories are: her mother, Catherine Murray of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Chris Murray of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Carolyn Murray of Pecos, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Ms. Murray was preceded in death by her father, Charles Murray, Sr. and two brothers, Charles Murray, Jr. and Eddie James Murray.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
