Ernest Lee McGhee, 93, of Memphis, TN passed away on February 23, 2026 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Ernest was born on June 15, 1932 to Fred and Hazel McGhee in Memphis, Tennessee. He is survived by eight children, Tony Armour (Brenda), Jeffery Armour (Brenda), Ernest McGhee Jr, David McGhee, Eric McGhee, Felecia Armour, Sharon Spikner and Veronica Peats; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 from 9:00 am - 10:55 am at R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Homes 2944 Walnut Grove Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home 2944 Walnut Grove. Burial will take place at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
