Hello Chavis Family,I'm a neighbor living in the area. Having heard of your most recent loss, I want to leave you a brief post. I too, well know the grief of losing love ones, and that at times like these, it is encouraging just to know that others are thinking about us. Something that has really helped me to cope with such losses, is the wonderful promise of Christ Jesus, recorded for our comfort at John 5 ;28,29. I hope, that when you are feeling up to it, that you are going to look up these powerful Scriptures, in your copy of The Bible. Also, I hope that this brief note, finds The Family feeling as good as can be expected Today. With Greatest Sympathy, Your Neighbor ; P.W.

AS I READ THE VARIOUS POST, I NOTICED HOW AFFECTIONATELY EACH ONE SPOKE OF MRS. CHAVIS. JUST AS EACH ONE REMEMBERED HER THE CREATOR REMEMBERS THOSE ASLEEP IN DEATH. HE CAN RECALL IN DETAIL EVERYTHING ABOUT EACH ONE IN HIS MEMORY. THE BIBLE OFTEN COMPARES DEATH TO SLEEP.( PS 13:3) A PERSON WHEN ASLEEP IS UNAWARE OF WHAT IS HAPPENING AROUND HIM. LIKEWISE THE DEAD IS NOT CONSCIOUS OF ANYTHING. THE BIBLE TEACHES THAT GOD HAS NOT ONLY THE DESIRE TO AWAKEN THE DEAD FROM THEIR SLEEP BUT HE WANTS AND WILL DO SO. (JOB 14:14, 15; ACTS 24:15) FOR THOSE WHOM GOD RESURRECTS, DEATH IS NOT THE END OF EVERYTHING. THE RESURRECTION IS A BEAUTIFL PROMISE THAT GOD HAS GIVEN US. THIS PROMISE WHEN MEDITATED ON CAN BE A SOURCE OF COMFORT AND A SOURCE OF HOPE. IT CAN ALSO STRENGTHEN THE FAMILY AS THE DAYS GO BY. I HOPE THAT WILL BE THE CASE FOR THE CHAVIS FAMILY. I AM TRULY SORRY.

Dear Aunt Teen - I Love You Dearly Baby. Just the thought of you brings a big smile or a gut-wrenching laugh. There was no pack of Wrigley's Doublemint chewing gum that you didn't like or any McDonald's 10-piece Chicken Nuggets you didn't savor. At the end of the day, you chewed your way to happiness. I love you but you knew God Loved You Best! In the spirit of quoting another round of your favorite words. When you asked, when will I see you again - an answer didn't always come instantly so she would cock her head to the side and say "I'll see you when I see you." Love you Girlie! Your Niece Pétric
