Rogers 'Train' Johnson passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Kindred Transitional Care Rose Manor. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Jean Avent Johnson; daughters Lorraine Johnson Mattox, Ira J. Wilkins, and Eboni W. Kilgore (Brian); step-son Eric Archer , 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 11:30 am, the funeral to follow at 12 noon at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Durham.
