DURHAM - Walter Thomas Blackwell, 81, departed his life on December 30, 2015. He is survived by his dear wife, Mildred (Pat) Blackwell; two daughters; one son; one brother; one sister; and other relatives and friends. Public viewing will be Saturday from 12 to 7pm at Holloway Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Siloam Baptist Church in Rougemont, NC, with visitation at 1 p.m.
