Charles Ray Burnette DURHAM - Charles Ray Burnette, 62, son of Helen V. Burnette and husband of the late Gail Turner Burnette, departed his life on January 17, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters and one so, Charmin Burnette, Jazmina Burnette, Kelly Holloman and James Holloman; and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Burnette residence at 4600 University Drive, Apt. 901, Durham, NC 27707. The wake will be held at noon and the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church located at 901 East 'F' Street, Butner, NC. Arrangements are entrusted to Holloway Memorial Funeral Home.
