Bobbie Jean Gilliam, 60, of Lincolnton, North Carolina transitioned peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Robin Johnson House

She was born on August 17, 1965, in Cleveland County, North Carolina to Walker Gilliam, Jr. and Barbara Ann Camp Gilliam.

Bobbie Jean graduated from Bessemer City High School and later attended UNC Pembroke, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in White’s Family Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
