Pamela Yvette Galbreath

Passed 03/02/2026

Mrs. Pamela Yvette Galbreath was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 2, 2026. Pamela was born on December 31, 1968, in Washington, D.C., to Patricia Ann Chalmers and the late Henry Lee Chalmers.

Pamela was educated in the Guilford County School System and proudly graduated from Smith High School. Shortly after high school, she began her professional career at American Express, where she dedicated 20 years of faithful service.

While building her life in Greensboro, she met and married her soulmate, Johnny Galbreath. Together they shared 35 beautiful years of love, partnership, and unwavering devotion.

Committed to personal growth and excellence, Pamela continued her education at Guilford Technical Community College, where she earned her Associate's Degree in Business Administration. She later worked at AdaptHealth and obtained her Notary Public license in the state of North Carolina - a testament to her ambition, determination, and strong work ethic.

Pamela had a vibrant spirit and a heart full of joy. She loved traveling, relaxing at the beach, and organizing meaningful events for her church family. She especially enjoyed exploring new home developments and had a strong desire to one day become a realtor, fueled by her deep appreciation for beautiful home designs and the idea of helping families find places to call their own. She had a remarkable gift for bringing people together and leaving a lasting impression of warmth, strength, and grace wherever she went.

Along with her loving husband, Johnny, she leaves to cherish her precious memories: her devoted son, Jamar LeShawn Galbreath; her beloved daughter, Jasmine Patrice Galbreath; her mother, Patricia Ann Chalmers; sister, Sonya Lavonne Thomas (Roy); nephew, Roy Lee Thomas II; one great uncle, Rev. Charles Chalmers; one uncle, Kenneth Miles; two aunts, Iris Hollis and Robbie Torres; and a host of cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Pamela was a strong and faithful Christian woman whose life reflected her love for the Lord. Her faith guided her steps, strengthened her through life's challenges, and shaped the way she loved others. She loved her family with everything she had — fiercely, selflessly, and wholeheartedly. While she carried many roles throughout her life, her greatest titles were being a devoted wife to her husband and a loving mother to her two children. Her presence was a blessing, her prayers were powerful, and her love was unconditional. Though she is no longer with us physically, her legacy of faith, strength, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2026 11:30am St. Paul Baptist Church 1309 Larkin Street Greensboro, North Carolina. Visitation 11am.
