Beverly C. Portis of Montgomery, AL, passed away on March 1, 2026. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Saint James Methodist Church, 9045 Vaughn Road, Montgomery, AL, Dr. Harrison Bell, Pastor, and Dr. Lester Spencer officiating. She will be laid to rest at Alabama Heritage Cemetery, under the care of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family hour will be one hour before the funeral service at the church.
