Bernard’s Family Funeral Care, The Eatonton Chapel, announces with heartfelt sympathy the passing of Mrs. Ruth Williams Ellison of Eatonton, Georgia. Mrs. Ellison peacefully transitioned at her home on March 4, 2026, surrounded by the comfort of her loved ones.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing and visitation on Friday from 3:30-6:00 p.m. at Bernard’s Family Funeral Care, The Eatonton Chapel, located at 103 Willie Bailey Street, Eatonton, Georgia 31024, where loved ones may gather to share memories and offer their condolences.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at St. John AME Church, Eatonton, Georgia 31024.
Interment and committal services will follow at East Eatonton City Cemetery, located at 124 Hogan Boulevard, Eatonton, Georgia 31024.
