The book of Psalms 84:10 resonates with a profound truth: "A single day in your courts is more precious than a thousand spent elsewhere. I would willingly serve as a doorkeeper in the house of my God than inhabit the tents of wickedness." With heavy hearts, S. Jones F. and C. bear the sorrowful news that Mother Nellie Elaine Bond Locklear known to many as "Elaine" has traded her usher's uniform for a white robe in glory and her mother's hat for a crown of righteousness. On March 2, 2026, she ascended to a place of eternal peace, earning her angelic wings within the comfort of her own home.

The heartbreaking task of planning the Celebration of Life Services for Mother Locklear has been finalized by the family and will proceed as follows. A visitation will be held from 12 PM to 1 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2026, as she lies in state at the altar of the Greater New Testament Holy Church, where she served wholeheartedly. A Home Going Celebration of Life will be called to order at 1 PM, following the public visitation.
