The Interment will follow at the Ewell Family Cemetery, Streets Ferry Rd. Vanceboro, NC.

He is survived by his son, Dannie Phillips Jr., New Bern; two daughters, Vickie Phillips, New Bern, NC and Terra Freeman, Ayden, NC; four grandchildren; sister, Shirley Phillips Marshall; two brothers, Lander Phillips, Lexington, KY and Ronald Phillips, New Bern, NC.
