Angela and I have been friends since the early 1990s when I joined First Calvary Baptist Church and later served on Durham City Council together from 1995-1999. She truly cared about our Durham community and was a very thoughtful and caring person. Angela was an inspiration to so many persons with disabilities and never let hers be a barrier to achieving great things. Angela will truly be missed.
