James Rudolph Crooms Jordan, 79, a former resident of Beaufort, NC., passed March 3, 2026, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC.

Funeral services 2:00 PM., Friday, March 20, 2026, Queen Street Missionary Baptist Church, Beaufort. Interment will follow at a later date.

Rudolph is survived by his daughter, Sandra Chambers, Fayetteville; sons Kevin M. Crooms, Castle Grande, AZ., and Breton L. Crooms, Newport; brothers, William Crooms, Baltimore, MD., Antonio Crooms and Thomas Crooms, Beaufort; three grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
