Funeral service for April Brown, 41, of Valley, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at New Spirit Missionary Baptist Church, 3302 Dale Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801 with interment in Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 2255 Wrights Mill Road, Auburn, AL, 36830, Reverend Tyrone Edwards will officiate.

Mrs. Brown, who passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born May 5, 1984, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Monday, March 9, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. Brown will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Cedric Brown of Valley, AL; four children, Makayla Patrick of Auburn, AL, Makel Patrick of Birmingham, AL, Makeena Patrick and Raelynn Brown both of Valley, AL; two step-children, Tarijah Brown and Sydereeria Brown both of Valley, AL; father, Albert Williams of Auburn, AL; two sisters, Chanika (Jermaine) Hodge and Lenetta Williams both of Opelika, AL; one brother, Albert (Briauna) Morgan of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
