Bobby James Penny, 53, of Butner, North Carolina, passed away on March 8, 2026.

Bobby was a hardworking man who spent much of his life working in vinyl siding and painting. He was known for his dedication to his work and for the love he had for his family. Bobby will be remembered for his strength, his love, and the time he spent with those closest to him.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Penny and father, Raymond Wayne Penny.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Jamie Penny; his daughters, Brianna Penny, Miranda Penny, Skyler Penny, and Kinzlee Penny; his step-sons, Daniel Yearwood and Caleb Stoker; his step-daughter, Kendall Stoker; his sister, Michelle Garner; his mother, Bobbie Lou Penny and mother in law, Bobbie McRae. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Bobby’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
