OPELOUSAS- Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Community Chapel Church of God in Christ, 1606 W. College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Anna Henry, 77, who entered eternal rest on Monday, , March 2, 2026, at her residence in Opelousas, LA.

Rev. Murphy Henry, under the leadership of Bishop J.G. Riles – Pastor of Triumph Church, will be officiating the funeral service.

Cherishing Mrs. Henry’s memories are: her three sons, Murphy (Rhonda) Amaretto, TX, Shane (Sabrina) Henry of Church Point, LA and MacKinley (Raquel) Henry of St. Rose, LA; one brother, Willis (Shelia) Thomas of Lafayette, LA; two sisters, Florence Trail of Swords, LA and Evelyn Richard (Nelson) of Houston, TX; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by: her husband, Martin Henry; parents, Allen Valliere and Annie Thomas; one daughter, Shelly Sias; three brothers, Andrus Valliere, Lawrence Valliere and Herman Valliere; and three sisters, Serita Thomas, Wilma Thomas and Effie Babineaux.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Community Chapel Church of God in Christ.
