OPELOUSAS – A Celebration of Life will be held by family and friends for Ms. Patricia Barnaby, 69, who entered eternal rest on January 24, 2026 at her residence in Opelousas, LA.

Ms. Barnaby’s memories are being cherished by: one son, Joseph Barnaba (Rhonda Johnson); six daughters, Angela Barnaba (Mederick) of Sunset, LA, Stephanie Barnaby, Mary Hayes (Raymond), Demetria Barnaba and Janet Barnaba, all of Opelousas, LA and Michelle Barnaba of Arnaudville, LA; one brother, Louis Barnaba of Lafayette, LA; one sister Leanna Reed of Opelousas, LA; best friend, Aanitina Davis; twenty-two grandchildren; forty-nine great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, Joseph Broussard; her parents, Roger Barnaby and Edna Mae Reed; daughter, Mary Barnaba; one granddaughter, Kendesa Castille; and two great grandchildren, Kylen Barnaba and Nicholas Cormier, Jr.
