CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY. MAY GOD GIVE THE FAMILY GRACE, PEACE, MERCY AND LOVE DURING THIS TIME. THE MITCHELLS

I loved him like a brother.

Pedro was an exceptional athlete, who loved and supported his former high school and football coaches as well as Hillside High School and North Carolina Central Athletic Departments as long as he was physically able. Even though he endured health challenges for years, he would always persevere to attend the football games at Hillside and both football and basketball games at NCCU even though one could sense his pain with mobility, he would never complain. He truly love the games and his hometown community, Durham. I will truly miss this brother, who set a very high bar in sports for those of us who came behind him at Hillside High School and North Carolina Central University.

To the family, May God ease your hour of sorrow and surround you with his love. And may it bring you strength to know our father's house above is a house of many mansions where His son has set aside Special places near him for his loved ones to abide. Welcome home 'PEDRO'...

Attended NCC, with Pedro, and enjoyed watching him play football on weekends. What I enjoyed, was a historically black college/university that afforded 1500 students too know one another, and Pedro was a students that stood out. It was a privilege to know him! Hubie
