Norman Earl Toomer, 51, departed his life on July 1, 2016. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Gwendolyn Toomer, of the home, two sons, one daughter, one grandson, his mother Brenda Felton, his father Robert Cole, six brothers and one sister, and host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held at Morehead Avenue Baptist Church, 1008 Morehead Avenue, Durham, on July 6, 2016. Visitation at 12 noon and services at 1p.m.
