MRS. EVA MAE BYRD DIGGS, age 88, of Wadesboro, North Carolina peacefully departed this life on Monday, March 9, 2026 at Hospice of Union County, Monroe, North Carolina.

The Homegoing Services will be on Saturday, March 14, 2026, 2:00pm, Nicey Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 318 Camden Road, Marshville, North Carolina. Interment will follow the service.

The Diggs Family will greet family and friends on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 1:30-2:00pm at Nicey Grove Missionary Baptist Church and at all other times at the residence of Mrs. Antonia Dean and Mr. Tony Diggs.

The public viewing will be on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 2:00-5:00pm at Smith's Funeral Home.
