Shirley Jean Mitchell, 81, of Elizabethtown, KY died Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

She is survived by her children, Dale Self and Lola Nixon both of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren, Todd Langley and Jessica Battle.

The family has chosen cremation.
