Obituary For Portla Revels

Portla Elise Tuten Revels, 54, departed from her earthly body on August 4, 2016. She leaves behind her loving husband, Marshall Barry Revels; three daughters; one son; one grandson; two sisters; one brother; one sister/cousin; and a host of other close loved ones. A viewing will be held at Holloway Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, August 11, from 7pm to 8pm and funeral services will be at New Covenant United Holy Church Inc. on Friday, August 12, at 12 noon.

Words cannot express how saddened I was to hear of my dear friend death. Portla Revels and I have known each other over 30 years... She was a dear friend and we both watched each other overcome great obstacles in life, BUT GOD!!!!! Though we did not talk everyday but when we did talk we caught up for the years we missed.
