Evelyn Rose Thompson, 79, of Memphis, TN passed away on March 10, 2026 at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Evelyn was born on October 27, 1946 to Phillip Thompson and Emma Thompson in Farrell, Mississippi.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 20, 2026 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at RS Lewis & Sons Funeral Home 2944 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38111. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026 11:00am at Greater Love Baptist Church 4439 Hacks Cross Rd, Memphis, TN 38125

Burial will take place in Pleasant Rest Memorial Gardens 6235 Raleigh Millington Rd, Millington, TN 38053
