Ruby, children and grandchildren, I know there will be a major void with the loss of Shelton. I have a deep respect for him. I know he was a loving person just by the way he took care of his wife. He was a cousin of my father's side of the family married to a first cousin on my mother's side of the family. My prayers will continue to be with the family today, tomorrow and as time goes on.

I treasure the opportunity that God gave Shelton and I to talk about 'old times '. Our younger silly years. The time when we laughed about stupid things. Like when he ended up walking me down the aisle at Greater St Paul Church because my brother's tux didn't fit! Shelton said 'I'll do it. You marrying my cousin. Lol' The picture that of Shelton blowing the wind out of his jaws is so funny. 😅. My heart feels the loss. God bless you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all the way. To the entire Daye family.

I so sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in Psalm 34:18. 'God is close to the broken-hearted and saves those crushed in spirit. 'Make God your comfort. He 'heals the broken-hearted.' Psalm 147:3 and provides 'refuge and strength in times of distress.' Psalm 46:1
