Ernest Lee McGhee, 93, of Memphis, TN passed away on February 23, 2026 at his home in Memphis, Tennessee.

Ernest was born on June 15, 1932 to Fred and Hazel McGhee in Memphis, Tennessee.

He is survived by eight children, Ernest McGhee Jr, David McGhee of Nesbit, MS, Eric McGhee, Tony Armour, Jeffery Armour, Felecia Armour, Sharon Spikner of Nesbit, MS, and Veronica Peats; fifteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 from 9:00 am - 10:55 am at R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Homes (Walnut Grove) in Memphis, TN.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 19th, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the R.S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Homes (Walnut Grove). Burial will take place at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
