Mary Ethel Russell 'Boosie' Barbee, 86, received her wings on December 5, 2016 at Duke Regional Hospital. She worked at Operation Breakthrough, Inc. Head Start Program for many years before retirement. She leaves to mourn six sons, Dwight, Glenn, Donald, Ronald, Victor, Juan Barbee, one daughter, Jannette Whitted , one brother Samuel B. Russell Jr.; preceeding in death, husband William Henry 'Shorty' Barbee, son Kenneth 'Button' Barbee, daughter Arlinda Barbee, and brother William R. Russell. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Holloway Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral at noon.
