Obituary For Lavel Ouick Dash

Mrs. Lavel Quick Dash, 64, passed on January 30, 2017. She was preceeded in death by her brother Willie Bowman Jr, sister Delphine Dearmon and son Timothy A. Dash III. Lavel leaves to mourn her loss; her friend, lover, confidant and husband Timothy Dash Jr of 44 years. She is survived by two sons; Rico A. Quick (Tamarsha) of Durham N.C., Damon A. Quick (Tracy) of Durham N.C., two daughters; Brittany A Dash (Phillip) of Durham and Tami D. Corkin (Steve) of Atlanta, GA. Lavel is also survived by five siblings (two sisters and three brothers); Lelia Woods of Atlanta and Debra Palmer (Carlton) of New York, Otis and Maurice Quick of Durham and Terry Quick (Cynthia) of Atlanta, GA. Lavel was also survived by a lovable mother figure by the name of Ms. Bednia Wells. During her 64 years, Lavel was blessed with 16 grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a whole host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Zion Temple United Church, 508 Sparella St., Durham, NC at 12:00 noon, visitation at 11:00 am.
